 Fence Application

A fence application is required before a fence may be installed.  The application is reviewed for fence materials, location, and height.   When fence applications are submitted to the City of Warren, you then will need to apply for a building permit which to ensure conformance with zoning codes.  Once fence is installed you will need to call Building Inspector, Greg Hufnagle at 218-201-2587 to inspect the fence.

 Operation "Warm Winter" Program

The Ministerial Association in conjunction with the City of Warren is offering customers an opportunity to contribute to an Energy Assistance Fund to be used to assist Citizens of Warren with their utility bill during the heating season. The funds will be distributed by the Ministerial Association of Warren based on financial needs.

 Streamlined Solar Permitting Checklist

Warren has developed a (Solar Permitting Checklist) for online use to detail the steps of the permitting process for solar development.

In addition to the (Solar Permitting Checklist), the City of Warren has also developed a Streamlined Permitting Pathway for Small Solar PV Systems ≤10-15 kW with a turn-around time of no more than 3 days.

 Transient License

A Transient Merchant license is required by anyone who engages in the selling of product going door-to-door. They will need a license in the City of Warren for selling goods, wares, and merchandise, either in one locality or in going from place to place in the City of Warren. The application must be submitted at least 14 days prior to conducting business in the city of Warren.
