 What are the City Hall office hours?

Our hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, except Holidays.

 Does the City of Warren have recycling?

Yes, the City of Warren does have recycling The site is located on 1st Street, between Fletcher Avenue and Bridge Ave. The bins accept plastic, newspaper, magazines, aluminum and steel. Please recycle and help by putting items in the correct bin. The bins are clearly marked with directions. Thank you for helping keep the community green.

We also have curbside recycling for our residents which is dumped once a month.  If you have any questions regarding it, please call City Hall at 745-5343.

 What happens to the garbage schedule when there is a holiday?

If a holiday falls on a scheduled garbage pickup day, please check the yearly calendar.

The city does have incentives for buying and building homes in the city. Warren is a great place to call "Your New Hometown".

 Does the City of Warren require building permits?

The City of Warren requires building permits for any construction, remodeling and installing of fences. Some items do not require a building permit such as putting in cabinets, carpet, paint, etc. If you are not sure if you need one, please call the city office at 218-745-5343.

 Does Warren require a Transient License?

Yes, the City of Warren requires a license for peddlers, solicitors and transient merchants. The license can be acquired at City Hall, 120 E. Bridge Ave. between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Ordinance Chapter V, Part 4A & 4B explains the ordinance and regulations regarding a transient license.
