Our charming, safe community is a great place to call home to our
families and businesses and government services. Warren is
home to a hospital/clinic, chiropractor, dentist, and nursing home.
Warren is the county seat for Marshall County and the location of
the regional government for northwestern Minnesota with the regional
development commission office located here. The school
buildings for the Warren/Alvarado/Oslo school district are in
Warren. We have a fire department and ambulance service.
The sheriff's department provides policing service to the town.
Warren welcomes new residents and works to keep existing
residents with housing incentives and an affordable housing market.
Our community offers business incentives and an active chamber of
commerce to our existing business owners. There are several
programs in Warren including JobZ that serve business growth,
entrepreneurism, and relocation of businesses to Warren.

Location:
Warren is located in the northwestern corner of Minnesota,
sixty miles south of the Canadian border and fifteen miles east of
North Dakota. The Red River Valley of the North forms the state
border.

Agriculture:
Agriculture is the major industry of the
Warren area. Located in the heart of the productive Red River
Valley, farming and its related industries provide a large share of
the employment and tax base for the community.
Access to Transportation:
- U.S. Hwy 75 & MN Hwy 1 intersect at Warren
- Interstate 29 is 15 miles west
- U.S. Hwy 2 is 30 miles south
- Burlington Northern Railroad's main north/south line runs
through Warren and connects with the Canadian National Railway
at the international boundary.
